Get answers to common questions about Underarms Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smooth underarms for about three to six weeks. Regrowth varies by hair type and hormones, and regular waxing typically slows growth, producing finer, less visible hair over time.

You may feel a quick sting during waxing, but sessions are brief. To minimize discomfort, exfoliate beforehand, avoid alcohol and caffeine, breathe and relax during service, and expect sensations to lessen with regular treatments.

Grow hair to roughly 1/4 inch for best results. Avoid deodorant and heavy creams on the day, exfoliate gently a couple days prior, and arrive clean. Inform your technician about medications or skin concerns.

If skin is irritated, sunburned or broken, reschedule until healed. Recently shaved skin needs at least two weeks of regrowth before waxing. For sensitivity, patch tests and soothing techniques are available to reduce reactions.

Schedule appointments every three to six weeks depending on your hair growth and preferences. Regular sessions help delay regrowth and thin hair. Your technician will recommend timing based on your natural cycle and previous waxing response.

Avoid heavy exercise, hot showers, swimming and deodorant for 24 hours. Soothe skin with a cool compress or gentle aloe. Exfoliate lightly after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs, and wear loose clothing for comfort.
