Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Nipples Waxing.

Most clients feel a brief sting; pain varies by sensitivity. We use gentle wax and quick technique to minimize discomfort. Numbing cream can be offered, and calming aftercare reduces irritation. Most soreness subsides within a few hours to twenty-four hours.

Ideally hair should be approximately a quarter to half an inch long (about 6–12 mm) so the wax can grip. That usually requires two to three weeks of growth. Avoid shaving or trimming hair too short before your appointment.

Most clients book every four to six weeks initially. With consistent waxing, regrowth often slows and intervals can extend to six to eight weeks. Individual hair cycles vary, so we'll recommend a schedule based on your personal growth pattern and comfort level.

We screen for skin conditions before waxing. Waxing is not recommended over open wounds, sunburn, active dermatitis, or infected areas. If you have sensitive skin we can perform a patch test and use gentler products, or postpone treatment until fully healed.

Aftercare: avoid hot baths, saunas, and direct sun for 24–48 hours. Wear loose clothing and skip heavy exercise for the first day. Use a soothing, antiseptic gel and gentle exfoliation after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and calm the skin.

Certain conditions may affect eligibility: active infections, recent breast surgery, cracked or breastfeeding nipples, or uncontrolled diabetes may require postponement or medical clearance. Blood-thinning medications can increase bruising risk. Disclose medications and health history so we can recommend the safest option.
