Results usually last three to six weeks depending on hair growth, lifestyle, and hormonal factors. With regular appointments, hair often grows back finer and sparser. We recommend scheduling follow-ups every four to six weeks for consistent smoothness.

Some discomfort is normal, especially the first time. Pain varies by individual, area sensitivity, and technician technique. We use quick, professional methods, pre-wax care, and soothing aftercare to minimize discomfort. Numbing options may be available upon request.

Ensure hair is about quarter-inch long, exfoliate gently two to three days before, avoid tanning and heavy lotions on the day, and arrive clean. Avoid blood-thinning medications or excessive caffeine before your visit. We’ll review medical concerns beforehand.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense exercise, and tight clothing for 24-48 hours. Apply soothing aloe or recommended post-wax serum, exfoliate gently after 72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs, and wear breathable fabrics to support healing.

Many pregnant or breastfeeding clients can safely receive waxing, though sensitivity often increases. Inform your technician about pregnancy or medications. We’ll adjust pressure and technique, and avoid any contraindicated products. Always consult your healthcare provider for personalized advice.

Ideally hair should be about 1/4 inch (5-7 mm) long so wax can grip the hair. If hair is shorter, waiting a week is best; if much longer, trimming slightly helps. Technicians can assist with shaping as needed.
