Get answers to common questions about Half Legs Waxing.

Most men see smooth results for three to six weeks depending on hair growth, genetics, and aftercare. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and lengthen intervals between appointments. We recommend scheduling every four to six weeks for maintenance.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on first appointments. Our technicians use pre-wax soothing, correct temperature wax, and fast technique to minimize pain. Exfoliate and avoid caffeine beforehand; a mild pain reliever an hour before can also help if you’re concerned.

Hair should be about 1/4 inch (6mm) long so the wax can grip properly. If hair is too short, wait a few weeks; if too long we'll trim slightly for comfort and better results.

Sensitive skin may require a patch test and gentler wax; inform us so we can adjust technique and products. Clients with active varicose veins should consult a physician first; we may decline or modify service to ensure safety.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, heavy exercise, and tight clothing for 24 hours. Use gentle cleanser, hydrating lotion, and avoid exfoliation for 48 hours. After 48 hours resume exfoliation to prevent ingrown hairs and extend smooth results.
