Get answers to common questions about Full Arms Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smooth arms for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles, hormones, and aftercare. Regular waxing can slow regrowth over time. We'll advise on scheduling your next appointment based on your individual results.

Some discomfort is normal, especially first time, but technicians use fast techniques and calming methods to minimize pain. Avoid caffeine, exfoliate beforehand, and consider a topical numbing cream if sensitive. Pain typically lessens with regular waxing as hair thins.

Trim hair to about a quarter-inch if necessary, avoid heavy lotions or oils on the day, and exfoliate 24-48 hours beforehand to remove dead skin. Avoid sunburn, retinol products, and blood-thinning medications unless cleared by your provider.

Waxing can sometimes cause ingrown hairs or temporary irritation, especially on sensitive skin. We use proper techniques, sanitization, and post-wax soothing products to minimize risks. Regular exfoliation and recommended aftercare significantly reduce incidence and speed healing if problems occur.

Avoid waxing freshly sunburned or tanned skin. Wait until any redness or peeling has fully healed—usually seven to fourteen days—because sun-damaged skin is more sensitive and at higher risk of tearing, irritation, or pigment changes from waxing.

We can perform a patch test, use hypoallergenic waxes and calming post-wax products, and tailor techniques to reduce irritation. If you have severe allergies or conditions, consult your dermatologist first.
